About us

Brothers Randy and Kenneth Pels opened 3 Star Custom Cabinets along with their father Jerry in 1985 with the vision of building quality cabinets for customers in DFW and the surrounding areas. Randy and Kenneth still work hands-on on all of the cabinets built in our facility. Kenneth runs the day to day operations and Randy handles most of the outside work from measuring to installing. Today the family tradition remains as two of Kenneth's sons have followed along in his footsteps and are working along side him. Chris and Adam grew up working in the shop during their summer breaks from school. Chris has been molded into an amazing craftsmen building some incredibly intricate projects for our discerning customers. Adam works on most of the CAD drawings, job planning and fills in where needed in the shop. Throughout the years we've grown but remained small enough to oversee every stage of the project and we strive to build the best product possible with personal attention to customer service. From small remodels to large new home construction we aspire to build the perfect cabinets for your needs.
